Is this the same exact AB used on the 05 & 06 G35 coupes? Am I correct that Lakeshore was the blue for 07?

The reason I'm asking is because I don't recall ever seeing this color until now. Did I miss it during those two years? I was on the G35 forum today where I surprisingly saw AB on 05 & 06 coupes. I actually thought it was an all new color for 08. Normally they don't bring back a color. Don't they usually change the name for the new year?

Regardless, its a great color! I wouldn't think it would be so rare that I never saw one before now. Interesting.....

try CB for a rare color. i'd even go so far as to custom paint the SCoupe CB, just insure uniqueness

Athens Blue would be the color I'd pick for the G. 6MT with the premium package and call it a day.

i'm still torn between AB and IP. not sure which to go with. I loved my CB so much and the AB is the best thing to it. But i do like the way IP shines. choices choices

Geez, I didn't know how rare it would be. Grubbs Infiniti in Dallas has 61 G37 coupes and only ONE is AB. I just want to see one in person. It may take a while at this rate. hehe

AB is an amazing color on the Coupe. Brian (AthensBlueG) came up from Boston and stayed with me for a couple of days before our roadtrip and it was the first time I ever saw AB in person. I was amazed at how incredible this color was on the Coupe. If I was in the market for the Coupe, this would definitely be one of my top choices.

Those are two BEAUTIFUL cars. I love the factory rims on the coupe. I'd love to find something similar for my G37 in 19".

I know nothing about offsets, so I'm a little hesitant to make a move.

Hahaha, yeah he really seems to get around pretty well. Brian stayed a couple of nights at my house the 1st of July and then we headed out for our Quebec City G35 Road trip.

Athens Blue was offered on the V35 Coupe from 05-07. The weird thing is that not too many of them were sold compared to say IP, OB, DG etc... but whenever we cleaned one up and threw it into the showroom, it was gone within about a week. AB is definitely a hot color. VERY underrated IMO.

I hear this too, maybe that's why not many sold, no one can see it in person if they're not in the showroom long enough. For the G37, I have seen every color in person except the AB ... still waiting.
