g37 black / black or g35 black / black

I"ve owned an "06 6MT G35 and as well as the current G37. I like everything about the G37 better. Yes there is more weight and at times you can feel it, but it"s not as bad as people make it out to be given the G37 is a better car overall.
I don"t know what there is to say in regards to the G35 being better. Styling is a matter of taste. Some like the G35 lines better or what have you. Performance wise the G37 is a much more solid car. Inside and out. play free online casino games

As I previously implied/stated, I'm not bashing on the new car at all. The owner of this thread asked for advise and insight on the new car versus the old one, and that is my opinion on it. I'm sure whatever his final decision is, it will be wise according to his wants and needs.

Hey Im 20 and trading my G35 coupe in two months for a G37. The G37 is a much improvement needed and the G37 only cost $800 more you should difinitely get the G37.

I would completely disagree with that. Please refer to the G35 forum, and search for the thread that inquires driver age and profession. A few months back I would have agreed with your statement, however, after reading that thread I was surprised to see that the majority of the G35 drivers are sports car enthusiasts in the low to mid 20's.

Guys guys guys, I never said 100% of the G35 drivers are in their 20's, but a great amount are. I'm not giving any statistical numbers nor am I saying that my opinion is a fact. All I'm saying is what I know and what I have seen. Besides, this is a sports coupe we are talking about here, not a Cadillac; I'm sure all of you can read a document made by Infiniti, however, look at your ages, and tell me if they conform with my previous statement or not
I also find it comical that everyone opposing my comment is a recent or soon to be G37 owner...

Thanks for the replies guys, I really appreciate it. You can now stop posting in here, at least for my sake. What I really need is to test drive and compare the two cars side by side on the same day, but this is an unlikely scenario given the rarity and fast sell times of the two cars.

In my opinion, if you want a more 'connected' feel for the road that's sporty -- get a Z, not a G. That car is meant to be heard / thrashed. The G is supposed to be more 'sophisticated' and 'luxury' ...
Perhaps you have made your mind up in your initial posting ... get the '07 G coupe. Realize that parts to mod will be more readily available (thus, "cheaper") but your car will blend in with the others already on the road. And for certain, the depreciation in the first year or two will be horrendous now that the new G37 is on the road. The new G, on the other hand ... has 'questionable' styling cues and will fetch close to MSRP right now. Mods will slowly trickle in ... I'm sure things will change after the Tokyo autoshow as well as the Tokyo Auto Salon (ie JDM SEMA show) when various aftermarket 'tuners will display their wares.

A pretty cool Infiniti marketing vid here if you want to check it out. I thought it was quite interesting as far as the audience Infiniti is targeting.
Anyways, sorry for taking this OT.

There most definitely are G Coupe drivers in their 20s, but it's no where the average age nor the majority. Infiniti has done their homework and the average age of a G Coupe buyer has been 47.

I was debating between a '07 G35C and the G37. And right now, I'm now pretty much dead set on getting a G37. Newer, more power, and refined. The body style has GROWN on me, from all the pics I've seen here. I've seen it in person but from 40 feet away when I'm passing by the dealer's lot. Just wait until the MOD GODS reign their blessings on this car.
BTW, my friend recently got a '07 G35c black/black last June. He now wants to kick himself in the ***.
