Before anyone gets insulted, this is a personal decision. That being said, apparently you haven't seen the interior of a classic Jaguar, Mercedes, or Aston Martin.

Aluminum is just the current fad. It will eventually go back to wood, then metal, and then wood, tec.

(I wouldn't say that wood doesn't belong in the car. Press the accelerator, get wood. Thats all I'm sayin')
Sorry to all those that disagree, but I have to say that I agree with him. Although the Rosewood looks quite nice, it belongs in a sedan and not a coupe. But then this car wasn't focused towards young people like us. I am just glad they have that nice Washi trim that looks really sporty without looking cheap. +1 Infiniti

Hey, I like the wood.

In the old days, the entire CAR was made of wood.

Jaguar, Mercedes, Aston Martin. Are these car manufacturers?

Of course I have seen them. When I think fast, I think carbon fiber body on aluminum tube frame.

The whole point is that wood, even the tiny amount in the trim, implies form over function, the opposite of extreme engineering for performance.

But we aren't talking about supercars here. The wood looks good but says something different from the aluminum.

If the wood makes you feel comfy, get it. Then take some pictures of it, will you, please?

(I will keep getting rosewood on my guitars, even though aluminum fretboards are available).
