I'm Thinking of Ivory Pearl?
Infiniti of Westchester has an IP Journey with every single option in stock and unsold. I am seriously thinking of getting that tommorow morning. My dilemma is, I already have an IP 04 Coupe. I do like that color, but it's not my first choice. What do you guys think of the IP? Payments end up being $20 more on the optioned out car versus the the one with sport, nav, premium and spoiler.

I see your from South Jersey...
Have you gone to Holman on 38 and taken a look yet? Thats where WellBelowH20 got his and he got it for $9** under MSRP. He also went to the Aug 21 party and mentioned that only 75% were pre-ordered.
I went in about 3 weeks ago, and suddenly my name was on one of the first cars coming in. I'm actually going there tomorrow morning to get my car appraised and to test drive the G, although the car with my name on it isn't in yet.
Just a suggestion if you are looking for color options.

Yea, I have a deposit there, but they don't have the car I want. If you don't have a salesman there yet, talk to Ted Meade. Great guy, no pressure and knowledgeable.

Actually he is my salesman...lol.
I was surprised that he knew quite a bit about the car and the concept as well. I was in there for about an hour just BS'n with him. I didn't even have to leave a deposit. How can you say no to reserving a car without a deposit?
When's your car supposed to come in? Just getting impatient??

lol, yea....I am waiting for an Athens Blue Journey with Prem, Nav, Sport, Spoiler. I am hearing at least October for this color. The one in Westchester is IP with stone. I love the IP, but wanted to try something different. I will see what they can give me for my trade tomm. If they present a great deal, I will probably take it.

Haha, thats cool!
There is also infiniti of willow grove, and infiniti of ardmore as well. They may have a Black Obsidian or another color if you are looking for something different. Might as well hit em all while you are driving around PA! LOL

im trying to decide between an g37 or 335i.
There are a couple dilemas.. g37 dont want it to get plaid out or infiniti it self wouldent want to spend 40k on something u c on every block. If i do get it im thinking of IP on graphite, prob my first choice. Nice set up. Also white cars some people see that as a "girl color" i really dont c it but tints should change that, also graphite interior.
335i dilema is the price and interior..
still cant decide..

Same situation here. I drove the 335i coupe and it was really nice. Optioned out though, it was like $52K and still didn't have all the tech stuff the G37 has. I've heard some people say the the IP is girly, but like you say, IP with tint is freakin sick! The ony problem is, I live in Jersey and you cannot have any shade of tint on the front windows.

IP is such a fantastic color, as you well know since you currently have one. I know that you want to try something different, but if you get a good deal on your G35 it might be hard to resist. I guess it all comes down to your willingness to wait for another color or grab IP now. I know for me, I LOVE IP!

I have an 04 with 25,000 miles on it. Came with prem, aero, no nav. Holman is offering $21K on it.
KBB $24K
Intelliprice $17-$21K
NADA $25K
Edmunds $23K
Holman's offer is not too far out of line, but I was hoping to get $23K for it. We shall see.

Guess I'll find out where they come in tomorrow. If you don't get what you are looking for on a trade-in are you going to sell privately?

Look it up on Intelliprice. That seems to be most in line with what the dealerships typically offer. What pisses me off is they will try to buy my car for $21k and turn around and put it on the used car lot for at least $27K. I understand they need to make a profit, but come on.

edit: the trade in difference will not be a deal breaker, but I wll shop it around more if I don't get what I want for it. After all, like you said, there are plenty of Infiniti dealerships around here. Plus I'm in northern VA and MD a lot so even more options right?

Thanks!
It came in between $13,455 - $16,620
So I'm probably close on what they are going to offer me...lol.
And yea, they will turn around and sell it for $20-21k
Were the willing to negotiate on the appraisal?
If i get 16k for trade in and 1k off msrp, id probably give in...I am sure I could sell it for around 18k...but then I have to deal with the headache. Decisions, decisions...lol.

Not sure how negotiable they would be. It was kinda hard to talk any real concrete numbers since I couldn't buy the car and finalize the paperwork ath that moment. As with any dealership, I'm sure they lowballed me and have wiggle room. Good luck tommorow!
