I was thinking about lowering the car about 1 1/2", but the dealer said it might mess with the geometry. I already love the handling and won't want to sacrifice it for aesthetics.

What do you guy thing?

My Overlays are now available for the G37. I have Full smoke headlights and tails, GTR Style Headlights and Tails, Rear Valence More are planned but these seem to be the more sought out Overlays. I need good pics for my Gallery so I'm offering a deal on these for a limited time, in exchange for some good pics for my Gallery . Email me if interested .

Goood to see ya here bat... and with overlays already!
Can you at least take a pic of the rear Valence? I'm interested in seein this, even if its not on the car.

Another idea you may like to kick around is eye lids for the rear tailights. A photoshop pro on here, Rampant, PS'ed a set of rear eyelids on the G and got MUCH positive feedback.
People said it looked like rattlesnake eyes and started calling them Rampant's Rattlesnake Eyelids... or something.

Combine those eyelids with the GTR overlays and i think you have a tru winner! Possible to layer overlays? or merge both overlay and eyelids into one peice.

Hmmm, just a thought.

Pardon my ignorance but how do those things work--are they basically stick-on (by the way the pics of them look great).

Basically, a vinyl overlay applied with soap, water and a hairdryer for the curves and corners .

Are there several manufacturers and types of mods like this? Also, are they fairly durable? Finally, of course, what ballpark costs are we talking about?

Sorry, I don't mean to sound harsh but wow, after this I don't see how you're in any position to give vinnys coupe any advice on "legality".

There are other guys that do it, however, I take pride in creating alot more options in my Overlays. Look at my g35 Gallery, I think I offer at least 6-8 different taillight Overlays just for the Coupe! I do interior pieces as well. this is merely a hobby for me that I really enjoy doing . Prices range anywhere from $12 on up to $49 depending on the Overlay. I also have a flat rate 1st class shipping and handling charge of only $2 in the US! I really try to keep it simple. I have a fulltime job as a teacher, plus I do freelance art and design as well.

Bat, will there be a seperation between the two "circles" on the tail lights, to create that GTR appearance. Or will they sorta mush into each other with no smoke seperation in between.

This pic shows seperation:

This one does not:

That second pic shows a PS of the 03-05 style wing/spoiler on top of the chrome of the G37. Anyone think thats possible? Perhaps cover the chrome like that? I wonder if a body shop can do that custom for me. Anyone hv any ideas about that?

No front plate is required in Alberta either. I'm in Ontario, I would never even think about not putting a front plate on. It doesn't look that bad anyways. I'd rather have the peace of mind that cop will not have a reason to pull me over.
