Hypothetically

Middle east: Dubai

G37, will be available in Feb 2008 and priced at $49k.
G35, is priced at $42k
335i, priced at $59k

Hypothetically, if you havent bought either, would you pick the G35 as opposed to the G37, considerin, the G35 is at the end of its product life cycle, and considerin the excessive depreciation you may be subject to after 3 -5 yrs when your lookin to rid off it, also as its more of niche in this part of the world..

Is the $7k differential justified in the context of all aspects.

Also, im thinkin, even if i save $7k at the outset, when it comes to selling 3-5 yrs later, i prob wont lose as much on a G37, owing to its relative newness?

just as the avg joe reckons, im quite iffy bout the rear of the G37, how does it stack up against the G35 rear, i.e is it really that bad looking...i reckon those who have seen it in person, would be in a better position to comment.

Finally, next time, some of you go check out the G37, if you have a G35 , or you happen to see one around, it would be much appreciated(2 the enitre forum) if you could snap some comparitive pics.

As regards the 335i, considerin the price differential, would y'all still pick it over the G37/G35, considerin all aspects.

Could y'all pleave provide your honest opinion(s).

Thanks

Huh? The G37 is available on Aug 21st of 2007 - where did you get Feb 2008 from?

The 335i and the G37 don't compare as far as feel to me. The 335i is literally the meaning of the word "Germanic" and is boring with no style whatsover.

Also, the VQ Engine is a much stronger competitor in my opinion as far as potential AND reliability than the BMW's inline 6.

But that's mostly because I have an old VQ30 in my current Maxima pushing 350hp at the wheels (stock=190) and no engine modifications.

While the G35 Coupe will always have a special spot in my heart, I've fallen in love with the refinement and beauty of the G37. (I even love the back-end, which most hate)
