Pics of Blue Slate @ Infiniti of Tacoma, WA.
Went and checked it out.
Until I actually get to drive it I'm going to contain my excitement somewhat. (this is thier only demo and they are not allowing test drives)
HOWEVER - the car looks great, is comfortable, and has a VASTLY more refined interior and (in my opinion) exterior compared to the previous G35 Coupe.
Not that the G35 isn't pretty as hell. But the G37 is just more grown up and refined. You can pull up to the club or up to the opera house and at neither place will it look out of place. Hard to describe, but you get my point.
One thing however is that I'm glad I didn't get the blue slate - it looks GREAT on the Sedans, but I think the Black beats it out on the Coupe.
The Blue Slate seems to take it a little beyond "refined" to me and a little more towards middle aged guy re-living his youth. I've got a few years before I hit that.
And yes, refined means older to me, and that's what I want - this is all my opinion. Some people will agree, others will not. But to me it's taking in my mind the G35 from being a rich college kid's toy to something more like a true luxury sports coupe for young professionals who are also somewhat thrill seekers.
Anyway - the pics:

Awesome, thanks for posting the pics. I agree with everything in your post and I love what Infiniti did with the G37. I think Blue Slate is a very nice color, however, I went with Platinum Graphite!

Nice pics blue slate looks good. But I picked black I agree as well the new G kept the sport image but also grew up and which is a good thing. Now you can be any age to enjoy this car not just middle age but you can be in your early 20s and late 40s and this car is still a dream.
