My G37 Coupe Review w/ Pics
Well, I originally posted this in the Hawaii forum as I only intended to share this stuff with my fellow 808 G Drivers in an attempt to keep a low profile. However, seeing as all of my pics have been leaked, I figured I'd share it with the rest of you folks. The following is a copy of my preliminary review of the G37 I posted in the Hawaii section about a week and a half ago followed by all of my pics I've taken so far. I'll try to snap some more for you folks tomorrow if I have some time. I've also provided a link to the original thread.

I'm sure that has a lot to do with the fact that it's about 100 lbs. heavier than our 4 doors.
When I read about the reduction in headroom and rear legroom I was curious to see what it felt like in back. Provided the folks up front aren't too huge and don't have the seats moved all the way back, folks under 6' should be pretty comfortable in the back seats. As for folks 6' in height and taller...forget it. My head touched the glass unless I slouched a bit although this also happens when I get in the back of a V35 Coupe. One feature I did like was the button which slides the seat forward and aft and the seat release latch has been moved to the side of the headrest as opposed to the ones located on the back of the seats in the V35.
For those who have driven an '07 Sedan you'll be very at home in the '08 Coupe as the Sedan's layout carries over into the Coupe. A couple of things did catch my eye though. The Coupe's seats have some very slick double stitching patterns along their seams. Very trick. The clutch and shifter have also been revised for '08 (versus the '07 Sedan). In fact, after having driven some later production '07s recently, it seems that Infiniti made some adjustments to the Sedan 6M/T's clutch and stick midway through the '07 model year. No need to wait until the '08s hit the lots for the revised stick and clutch. Good news for 6M/T buyers everywhere.
On the outside, the car has definitely grown on me. It's a little curvy out back and I definitely prefer the looks of the car when it has the optional Spoiler (the larger non-chrome one) in place. The brakes are massive but I haven't had a chance to sample them yet. Again I don't like beating on cars that are fresh off the boat and haven't been broken in yet. The 19" Sport wheels are dead sexy though. I definitely want a set for my Sedan. If any of you guys buy a 37 (hopefully from me ), let me know if you want to sell your OEM 19s. Hee hee.
Other than that, you folks are just going to have to wait to see and sample the car for yourselves.
Oh, there is one thing that must be said of the G37. The exhaust note is killer. It seriously sounds like a mix between the V35 Coupe and the V36 Sedan. If any of you have heard the '07 HR powered 350Zs, you'll know what I mean. This thing just sounds nasty. It's what the Coupe should have always sounded like. Less boomy, slightly more refined but still music to the ears. You've got to hear this thing.
I apologize for the quality of the pics in advance. They came from my phone.

More pics for you guys. The first are of an IP Coupe. Still fresh in the wrapper though. The second is of a Black non-Sport so you guys can check out the non-Sport front bumper and the Coupe 18s. Sorry about the pics of the black car though. Again I apologize for the quality of the pics. It's only a 2 year old 1.3 mp camera phone afterall. And no I'm not going to lug my SLR around at work. Might raise suspicion.

ip or black is the only way to go...honestly...this car is looking uglier and uglier to me ..the more pics i see of it... ....not trying to bash and was thinking of maybe getting it in the future but thats not looking like its going to happen....but i do like the direct front profile shot...that is the only area the 37 is nicer than the 35 coupe...not by much but it is definitely more refined from that view...the rest...not so much
