G37 at Suburban Infiniti of Novi(MI)

Just got a call from my sales guy at the local Infiniti dealership in Novi, MI. He said it was just rolling off the truck as he called me and told me to come in to look at it tomorrow. I'm still at work so didn't have much time to talk, so not sure if he's gonna let me test drive it.

All I know is that its platinum graphite, no clue if its an "S", auto/man, options etc..

Hopefully I'll be able to add my own review tomorrow night.

P.S. What the hell is this thing ---> Seriously, its almost as creepy as that dead rat in the Quiznos comercials.

LMAO!

I need to get up to Pfeiffer in Grand Rapids and see if they've gotten one in. Novi is too far for me, lol.

Ok so I stopped in tonight at about 8:55PM after work, and had to sweet talk the new sales lady into a mini test drive near the dealership. It was an auto G37 fully loaded in the new amethyst graphite color with stone interior, but sticker did not list price and had SAMPLE written across it.

This time I was taken by the looks since I parked my 06 black coupe next to it for comparison. Interior is obviously nicer, but the overall look seems sharper and more modern. When I sat in it, it just felt nicer.

Too bad it was auto and the 335 i test drove was also auto, so i can never truly gauge a car's performance without the control of a manual. But it didn't feel faster than my 06, just more refined (trust me I hate to sound cliche)

It looks like I may just slip into one of these once VPP is available.

Salesman told me it took 3 months until VPP was available for the 07 sedan. Hoping the same goes for the G37. If you order one now...it's gonna take 3 months to get it anyway....might as well wait to save a couple grand. That's your tint, intake, springs....shoot, another plasma tv! Plus...just the thought of paying MSRP doesn't sit well with me.

Yea of course I will wait for VPP. My current lease was supposed to be up Sep. 1, but I extended 3 months to Dec. 1 because thats when my salesman said VPP was available. I told him thats the only way I'd buy this car.

But it is definitely growing on me each time I see it in person...

Cool...good to know. So did he say it is available on the G37 effective December 1st or is it earlier. Just curious...because whatever day it takes effect is the day I'll be buying one.

Nothing wrong with this at all. If is just as fast as your old one, and I'm sure you love your current G, yet it is more refined in every way...that sounds like a win-win situation to me.
