G37 at Jim Coleman Infiniti in Bethesda, MD
So, I went to the dealership to see if I could get lucky, and I did!
They had just received their first G37 (Blue Slate Journey S w/ rear spoiler and all options but 4WAS).
Impressions:
Exhaust - I only saw them as they just pulled the car into the showroom, so I did not get to hear too much, but it was very nice and distinctively Infiniti. I wish I could have heard it as it started or being revved up, but no such luck as they wouldn't turn it back on inside of the showroom.
Outside:
This car is beautiful and certainly much more impressive in person. I have a 2004 6MT and I have been torn as to whether or not I like the new looks, but putting nostalgia and the sweet contrast of the Brembos behind the wheels aside, I like the G37 as much in its own right. Essentially, the pictures of the G37 do not fairly capture the true width and aggressive nature of the vehicle from the rear fender back...it is sweet! In my opinion, that rear stance is more than masculine and very sporty especially with the rear spoiler.
Inside:
Just like the 2007 G35 Sedan...simple, but very nice.
I did not get to test drive the car, but I will soon as they are expecting more to show up in the next week or so.
Here are some pics that I took...sorry I could not get any from further away...there was not much room where it was parked in the showroom. I have not been drawn to it in pictures, but the Blue Slate looks very nice in person.

I could not figure out how to load the pics into the thread, so if someone can do that, please do or tell me how.
Lastly, I had to show the salesmen the official pricing sheet as he had no clue that the information was available!

Awesome pics, thanks for posting. The blue slate looks amazing, I was really close to choosing that color. I think this is the first pic of the G37 that I have seen with splash guards, I think they look nice, glad that I ordered them on mine.

Yeah, Blue Slate is a sleeper color, but I think I'm leaning towards BO with Graphite interior, black rims, and maybe blacked out lights...oh the possibilities!

From the pictures, it looks like a hot purple tone under low light but more blue under sunlight (i.e. rear of car facing window). Is that how it actually looks or is that camera / lighting effects?
If it is, I think I've seen a custom purple like that on a G35 coupe showcar where it does morph between these two colors. I wonder if that's where they got the inspiration for this paint color .
EDIT:
I found this G35, goto page 7 of this link:

t's not quite to the extreme of this showcar but somewhat similar.

Multiply that by 1000 and you have their service department.
