I'm puzzled why an individual like yourself that
- flaunts at having "alot of disposable income"
- that has pretty much written off the G37 altima lookalike
- that believes there is absolutely no reason to buy any other car than a vette at $4xK
.. is still posting on these threads and yet owns NONE of these cars? Seriously, you love the vette, its damn nice no doubt. Go out and walk the walk!

Besides if the Vette is your kind of car, you're in the wrong forum Bob.

Again, if you can find an '08 Vette with that interior and technology, then go for it. it's only $45,000 and good luck driving that thing on regular roads.
Also, on another note, if you want to match the G's interior and technology and get a speed demon then just get the Bugatti Veyron.

335i base price: $40,800
monaco blue metallic exterior paint: $475 (comparing with blue slate)
premium package: $2,550
sport package: $1,100
steptronic auto trans w/ paddle shifters: $1,275 + $100
active steering: $1,400
comfort access: $500
active cruise control: $2,400
bmw nav: $2,100
heated front seats: $500
satellite radio: $595
iPod/USB adapter: $400
= $54,195 (excludes destination charge of $775)
I'd have to say that a fully loaded auto G37 + $10,000 = fully loaded auto 335i

I wouldn’t get an automatic so you can subtract $1,375. Not sure why anyone would compare a manual with an automatic and then use the price of the automatic as a demerit.
The G37 is a nice car but it’s still rough around the edges. There’s a reason why the 335i costs more that the G37 (and people are more than willing to pay a premium for it). The reason is simple; The BMW 335 is a better car than the G37. Factor in the 335’s better performance, better handling, better fuel economy, better resale, better lease rates, and free maintenance and the price difference almost becomes moot. I like the G37 but I’m not 100% sold on it yet. Sorry

radar guided cruise is in the G's Tech package, so not sure what you mean when you say it's "not available". Yimbie is getting the auto so he added it to the 335i price for comparison purposes and has nothing to do with whether you want only a stick. Sounds like you are 100% sold on the bim, so just go and buy that. No big deal.
You can go to the bim forums and post there and be a much much happier person.

Anyone know the invoice pricing??
There's a chance that despite a roughly $2500 increase in MSRP for a 6MT with premium package, the actual invoice change might be a lot smaller. Or at least I am hoping so.....
