The all-new 2008 Infiniti G37 Coupe combines the exhilarating performance, stunning styling and modern, sporty interior of the original Infiniti G Coupe and accelerates each to new levels. Among the key enhancements to the new second-generation G Coupe are a larger, more powerful 3.7-liter V6 engine, available advanced 4-Wheel Active Steer system, a dramatic new exterior design and a refined interior with intuitive, integrated technology. The G37 Coupe joins the recently introduced, all-new 2007 Infiniti G35 Sedan in Infiniti showrooms nationwide on August 21st.
Agent 001 talks to one of the lead engineers of the 2008 Infiniti G37, Steve Neece.
Steve has had hundreds of hours testing the new Infiniti G37 and BMW 335 on the road and on the track and he shares his insight on why he thinks the new G37 has finally bested the BMW 335 coupe.

Great video to go along with the great pics in the other Spy post. After viewing it though, I'm torn between keeping my '04 6MT forever, getting the 37, or hoping and waiting for an M competitor. No matter what I do, I'm starting to believe more and more that Infiniti really did improve on the previous generation, and the 335i is no longer an option for me!

I really love the exhaust note on that car. It's a nice change from the G35's exhaust note... it's getting a bit old since I've heard it so often. I can't wait to actually hear it in person.

i kinda like how we all share that exhaust betweeen the fx z and g. I find it as a game when im out somewhere and i hear the exhauset to see which one it is. i think the fx does sound louder than the z and g, maybe because its longer flow from front to back idk

When I first got my G35 back in 2004, I swapped out the stock cold air intake for the 350Z intake (I'm sure many of you guys did the same)... the G intake had that "resonator" on the bottom to tame the sound of the CAI whereas the 350Z had a straight tube with no resonator. The sonic difference was minimal I thought (and drowned out by the exhaust note at WOT anyway) but there was definitely a slight difference in sound -- the 350Z intake being a tad more aggressive sounding.
I wonder if the G37 has a similar resonator on its intake? If so, I wonder if my 350Z intake will fit -- or will even make much of a difference/ improvement?
