question about color combination - ivory pearl & wheat

Looking at the "g37highlights.pdf" file that was posted in another thread; if the chart at the bottom of page is is correct.. it looks like you can't get wheat interior if you get the sport or the journey with the sport package

Why the hell would they do that?

Not sure. I probably would have chosen wheat with my IP Journey/Sport but decided on Stone since it was not available.

I wouldn't mind graphite if they did the top of the interior the same color... another thing I don't understand why the hell they do it.

Because the Infiniti designers do not like the wheat colored interior with the washai aluminum trim, which is mandatory with the Sport.

But isn't that trim the standard? You can get wheat interior on a journey without the sport package.

Yup. Washi-finish Aluminum (Standard), and African Rosewood (optional) *looking at the dealer guide right now.
