that is incorrect. They both have the red S... The only ne that does not have the red s is the Journey with the sport wheels...

but the sport package adds the red S on both.

why bother offering a Journey model to begin with?
Infiniti is offering the Journey because the Journey is the one that has the 5AT. The G37 Sport model comes only in 6MT.

Not exactly. The G37 Journey w/ Sport Package is a G37S 5AT complete with the little red S. I have no idea why they set it up such that the G37 Journey and the G37S 5AT aren't separate models like the '07 Journey and Sport 5AT Sedans are. At least on paper anyway. In other words, if Infiniti carries this formula over to the '08 Sedans the lineup will go from...

G35 Base
G35 Journey
G35x
G35 Sport 5AT
G35 Sport 6MT

to

G35 Base
G35 Journey
- G35 Journey w/ Sport package 5AT
G35x
- G35x w/ Sport package 5AT
G35 Sport 6MT

Ugh, so stupid. Instead of having the Journey model they should just offer a Journey package like they do on the M.

I have the 2007 G35S in an auto so, I see no reason why the G37S shouldn't have one either.

The difference is:

One is a MT and the AT gets the sport shift paddle.
