Target Market

Omg, wth? lol... younger buyers in their early 40s?
From this video... it seems as though the Infiniti G37 WAS created for a more "sophisticated" audience, which makes sense... Infiniti as a luxury brand should go more into the luxury market and away from an enthusiast market... but early 40s? omg. lol
I guess they expect a similiar market or same market with the 335i buyers. From what I've seen... most of the 335i owners seem older.
Well... there are a lot of people who own Gs and are older... it's just that you usually wont find them on places like these kind of forums... my friend's mom who's in her 40s owns an IP 2006 G35 with that spoiler.
Also... if his comments about Infiniti's market is what Infiniti was thinking all along... then no wonder so many of you guys were disappointed with the G37. I don't think Infiniti expected many younger buyers in their early 40s... ... to go out and race and care SOOOOOO much about 0-60 and 1/4 mile times.

that's been pretty obvious to me for a while. i've been ignoring the incessant posting/obsession with the perception of the g37 and how personally you take it.
ultimately, even "older" buyers race cars by their brochure stats.

the target sounds right to me... ive always appeciated nicer cars and was always looking at the G's competitors before it came out so as a nissan fan.. the G was everythign i wanted.. V6, sporty coupe, MT and luxury..

well, until some more news about the G comes out, there is not much else to talk about. I figured you were in your 20's. But now that you let your age out, I have to wonder how you are able to afford this car. I would have to suppose you arent paying for it. But that is cool anyways that you have good taste in cars and are not another one of those silly little 4 banger types or one that doesnt even know what the hell they are driving.
