If 13.9 @ 103 is the best the G37 can do, then its a big trouble.
The 2007 G35 Sedan can do 13.8 @ 103 mph...
But I have a feeling its just this particular test that will yield such un-inspiring results.
Ii predict 13.5 @ 104 max...

13.9 is the other test that was done on the Edmunds topic above this with an auto.
Is the coupe weight hurting it that much?

After reading edmunds and C&D, it's always the same old compliant about steering feel. They really have nothing else to criticize...
Their quarter mile times are all relative to what they did on previous models so the new G is alot faster. I bet it will be faster once more people take it to the track.
I'm surprised Edmunds didn't address this issue but their observed mpg was 21.5... that is pretty low, maybe they drove it rough though.

I think magazine ratings are so convervative because of poor location in road tests & because they probably only do couple of runs and assume thats the best the car [and driver] is capable of.

now i'm even more excited to get an iPhone next week!
Besides the spoiler, which will be a cost option, our tester also had the Premium Package, which includes a sunroof, an upgraded Bose stereo, and one of the cooler, more intuitive iPod hookups around, among other luxuries. The iPod system utilizes the iPod’s dock connector to allow the user to control music directly via the G37’s touch screen and wheel as easily as if you were holding the Apple gizmo itself.
