The new G37 front end is too much like the G35 Sedan's, and it looks better on the sedan than it does the Coupe. I actually think the Sedan looks better than the Coupe now. The rear end of the G37 has way too much Pontiac G6 Coupe in it now.

Sure, the G37 does resemble the Concept, but the G37 is nowhere near breath-taking as the Concept.

I think the G37 looks good with the non-sport bumper. But its still nowhere near the "awwwwww" effect of the concept. Nothing surpricing; concepts are always much more ideal

.
The car is very similar to the concept. Probably one of the closest I've ever seen to the real deal. It seems an exageration to say it's "nowhere near as breath-taking as the concept". If you aren't awed by the car now I can't see how anyone would have been with the concept. The concept is slightly more sleek in some ways, front grille, side mirrors etc, 20" wheels etc but all stuff people knew would go away on the production car.

I just wish they would of retained the concept's taillights. Although they are very big taillights, they are very beautiful taillights.

I don't think anyone expected the concepts side view mirrors or panoramic roof to make it into production...the concept and production g do look very similar,

but i think the production model could have been a lot less bulky...the production g looks over weight, the concept does not...I'm not hating

though...the G37 looks good but i didn't fall in love with it like i did with the first gen...I'm sure people that aren't familiar with the g35 will love the g37...

Now that the non-sport bumper is closer to the concept bumper, the main difference between the Concept and the Production is the raised height of the hood, as well as the bulgy headlights.

If you look at the concept, the hood is an inch or two lower, and the headlights are flush with the panel. In the Production, the panel on top of the headlights caves in and the headlights bulge out.

The difference can be clearly seen if the second Concept photo is used to compare with this one:

I totally agree with you, i dont know why people keep sayin that it doesnt look like the concept while other cars look really different from the concept for example the range rover stormer and than the range rover sport.. they dont look alike to me :s .. i think the color of the g35 concept gave it an advantge .. and thats y it looks a bit different the wheels and the color maybe it a bit diff but it doesnt make me hate the production car

i havent seen side to side pics like this and to me its pretty damn close to the concept except for the 2nd set of pics. Aside from that, its almost a copy except for the interior and side camera the concept had, that was amazing.

am i the only one that HATES the g37's taillights!!?? i cannot stand them, they remind me of the maxima's taillights! nothing wrong with them on a maxima but com'on i am sick of nissan always making their cars resemble eachother way too much. but that is my only beef with the new g37. other than that its pretty clean.

From a side profile shot, if you were to cut out that tailight section off, and apply to a Maxima side profile shot, it would be an exact fit.
