SOUND OFF: Did Infiniti Play It Too Safe On The New G37?

I have a 2003 G35 Coupe, and for the last 5 years I can't figure out why everybody rats on the interior. Ok so there is painted plastic and rubber - you'd see the same thing in a $90k Mercedes or Bentley. Besides it's a sport coupe/sedan, not a AARP lounge. BMW interior bores me to death with its monotone design and decade old console setup.

Edit: As far as the whole "stale" comment...I feel that the FX is hands down the most unique, muscularly styled SUV out there. Some of its design cues are making into Infiniti's newer vehicles.

welll the stale comment came out of no where. infinti has some of the sexiest cars out including the fx, which would definately be my choice of suv. (do you like my run-on sentence)
But the g35 and the g37 look alike. only keen eyes will be able to tell the difference. i showed a pic to my girlfriend and asked if i should get it and she said its the same car, but than again she is a girl

I havent been in a G35c much, but I loved the Navi more than the 7. Other than that, the new interior is amazing. Especially in Stone, IMO.
I agree, the FX has that category down.
I love my loaded FX35. Black/black, with 20% tint. Aluminum rails, 20s, etc. It's such a unique SUV. In a perfect life, I would have this and a sports car. Sadly, a 7 will replace it. I'll miss it for the 12 months I leased it.
