Angry do I stay or do I go?

So, I put a deposit down on a G37 a few months back. as Info has become available I've been deciding on my options. I know I want most things offered- definitely 6-MT, I want the nav so I can get the real time traffic (Not sure I'll use it, but it seems so cool ), I want the back-up camera- so originally ordered the Premium package, now need to add the tech package, which is OK cause I was waffling over the adaptive headlights (I have them in my wife's car and they are really helpful). spoiler-yes. four wheel steering- no, then the color issue. I finally decided on Athens Blue.

so speak to my dealer, who informs me of the good news that the first one are scheduled for July. and that I can get one in july or aug. equipped as I like but in Liquid platinum. I say, "but, I want the Blue" he says, "I'm looking out through september, I don't see any Athens blue."
I realize my deposit only gives my first right of refusal, and I don't get to pre-order my car, but what good is a deposit on a new car, If I can't even get what I want.

Now I need to decide how important color is. I like blue slate but my last 3 cars have been that, I love black, but won't care for it properly. I dislike the light colors. I guess I'll wait.

I say wait and be patient. Get the car YOU want. Is there any way you could go through another dealer?

Just wait. You'll be happier. I didn't wait on my first g35 and was pissed later down the road.

Yeah, if I were you, I would just wait. You should always get your #1 color choice when it comes to buying a car, if you don't then you will probably never be completely happy with it.

Bro, it's really a no brainer really. If Athens Blue is really the color you want, wait for it. You'll probably kick yourself by going with another color just because you want it sooner.

Those guys are advising you wisely. You pay a premium for it, get exactly what you heart desires. Maybe a little pressure talk from your end as in: "I found another dealer who has the one I want...etc" might yield better results.
And by the way nothing prevents you to shop around if you have a way to cancel your order and get your money back. However Infiniti dealers are scarce in some areas...

Just wait it out and get what you want. Also see if you can get it at another dealership.

Well, I want a Caribbean Blue convertible G37. Since I won't settle for anything less, I'll just keep waiting until one becomes available. The last thing you want to do is spending $40k on something you 'kind of like, but not exactly.'

This is the 5th thread where people mentioned the Audi A5. What's up with that? I've been looking at the pictures online and A5 looks just as boring as the A4, except with 2 doors and the dual arch Tiburon crease on the side. The car looks bloated and the front end has no personality. There are so many grills in the front it seems as if the car is powered by nothing but a huge radiator under the hood. Seriously, what's so appealing about this car? It's probably the only coupe that's more boring than the BMW 3 series coupe.
