IMO the 3 series has managed to be the only car that looks better without a modern screen. I do not like the strange hump.
It looks better without it, much cleaner. Still, I do not think either look better than the new G. I do agree the materials are still of a higher grade, but the G interior makes up for it in other ways.
I do feel a "modern warmth" as Infiniti likes to say with the new G. I see a stark and barren interior with the 3

50whp difference...... What the heck!?
Time to buy a VQ37HR and stuff it into my first gen coupe. Nah, forget it, it's cheaper to buy a G37 and paint it Caribbean Blue. (ie Automobile magazine cover)

Nearly 3700 for the Journey with Sport Package and for the 6MT.

But what if this was a one-time fluke? What if that first 335i was a particularly strong example? Or--gasp--a ringer! The answer to that question appeared in the form of another 335i (this time painted space gray metallic) that BMW dropped off last week. Again, without hesitation, we grabbed the keys and headed for the dyno shop.

yoo according to the graph it looks like the 335i would rape the g37 not rape but beat it.. im wondering is that graph in manual becasue i know the manual is quicker than auto..if 335i is quicker than g37 auto auto i might have to change my mind on a couple of thingss..

If you look at Journey vs. Journey w/ sport package, it is 3624 lbs vs. 3682 lbs.
So in essence, adding 19" rims and 14" brakes makes for a 58-lb increase. That's 14.5 lbs per corner. My guess is the rims are cast not forged.
Just downgrade from 19" to 18" wheels and downgrade the 14" brakes to 13" brakes and you'll be ~3600 lbs. Eat one or two less steak dinners and you can probably get under 3600 lbs.
