Crack makes you look stupid. Don't use it

EDIT: The difference between the coupe and the sedan is the number of doors (main reason) and few other things.
That model is G so they are look a like. But they are totally different cars.

I understood his comment to be "the difference between the GT-R and the G37 is barely noticeable"

Those pics just solidified for me how tame this car has become in styling.

I'll Pass.

dont forget, 330 is still a target, the final number may come in higher, lets hope. Plus, he may not be pushing the variable valve technology too hard. Some VVTI and VTEC engines need to get in the upper rev bands before the extra HP is felt. Or maybe that 3,600 pound gerth is chipping away at the off the line speed. This car needs a diet, too many Dunkin' Donuts.

Yea, and sometime we can even see the moon at night when the sky is clear. Amazing isn't it .

Seriously though, I hope this guy goes back with a better camera. However with all the bashing he got from the sedan crew, I feel like he won't bother. BTW, I love the way the car looks .

Yeah it's you and only you. You must really, really want it to be a sedan or something. I have no clue how you could confuse it for a sedan..

Keep in mind that acceleration is a function of torque and not HP, and of course the weight of the car which in the case of the G37 will be heavy. So how much more torque will the G37 have over G35's engine? That will give you a far better idea of whether or not the power will be noticeable, than if the engine is able to produce more HP at 7500 RPM.

Ultimately, power is what matters. Low torque produces low power, so yes, torque matters. Of EQUAL importance is RPM, so same torque at high rpm produces more power and acceleration.

Since the new 3.7 only has about 6% more torque down low, it will only have 3% more power. at say 2600 rpm. So, down low, the difference should be slight, if any. The old motor dropped off at upper rpms (5000?), where this motor keeps it's torque so at the upper end you will have greater acceleration.

By the way, I am comparing it to the new 3.5, not the one in the coupe, which wil be noticeably slower.

oh no do we hae to give another torque/hp lesson... LOL

Fast1, you can't just look at one spot on the powerband to determine acceleration. Lets use an extreme example and say that a 3500 lbs car has 150 ft/lbs of torque at 3500RPM then it spikes to 400 ft/lbs of torque at 4000 RPM but then it drops to 150 ft/lbs of torque at 4500 RPM. Do you think that such a car would have great acceleration (with 400 peak ft/lbs of torque)?
