What's with the spoiler

LOL!!!
I keep cracking up when I see posts from the G37 fans (some of whom I strongly suspect are Infiniti dealers ) who defend the car by saying the rest of us are not getting an accurate perception of the car through photos due to camera angle, lighting, the silver color of the car, etc. etc. etc.
BS!!! C'mon guys... a car either looks good or it doesn't. The G35 coupe looked just as awsome in photos as it did in person. Photos of the G35 coupe never drew as much criticizm as the G37. Photographs of the G35 coupe didn't need to be spinned by fanboys and Infiniti reps.
I think that chrome spoiler looks dumb from any angle, the tail lights lost that distinctive LED pattern with the bars inboard of the circle, and the tail lights are abruptly chopped off from the side profile. Seeing other "better" photos or seeing it in person won't change my mind about those things.
If you like the G37...GREAT! Let's agree to disagree. But ALL TO OFTEN when someone criticizes the changes in the G37 versus the original G35 coupe design, the same group of G37 "supporters" rush to the rescue with the "photo defense".

^^Well, it almost always happens. People hate a new models in pictures then end up purchasing one after they see it in person. Case and point: '07 G35 sedan. It sort of like buying a house. Most pictures won't do a house justice and sometimes they will. In this case I think the car is going to look 10 times better in person than it will in pics. Same goes for my FX. But...as you say, I'm willing to agree to disagree.

Chrome strips belong on Buicks, not on a GT Sports Coupe. The G35 didn't need frivoulous, fussy crap like that to look good. The chrome strip shows fingerprints like crazy, and the only good (or bad) thing about it is it will reflect the headlights of the clown following behind you closely back into his eyes.

Agreed, I have never said one thing about the current G35 or compared it to the G37 and I won't. I'm into new stuff and don't dwell on old and that goes with everything I buy. I want the new model G37, chrome spoiler and all!!!!!!!!!
and I am NOT a dealer, salesperson nor have I EVER owned an Infiniti before this G37 arrives.

Very nicely said BostonMerlin, I feel the same way. I also think the G35 is an amazing car and that is what got me interested in Infiniti. However, I personally prefer the G37, their is nothing wrong with the G35 and I will never bash it. Also, to clear up some things, I am not defending the G37 because I am an Infiniti salesaman, I just think the G37 is an amazing machine!!

My 07 Sedan looked MUCH different to me in person than the hundreds of pictures I saw of it while I was waiting 5 months for delivery. That is a FACT! To me, it looked MUCH more aggressive in person than all the pictures I saw. So according to you, that is all BS right? Why is it so hard for you to believe that SOME people might see things differently than yourself?? Just because someone doesn't share the same thoughts as YOU, it doesn't mean it is automatically BS. You are trying to paint EVERYONE on this forum with the same brush......and it simply doesn't work that way.

That's fine. More power to you G37 guys. But it is completely fair and reasonable that G35 owners are going to have opinions including criticisms about the G37 and are going to compare it to the orgininal G35 coupe, since
THIS IS "G35driver.com"!!!
If you don't want to read G35 owners'/enthusiasts' perspectives of the G37, you should form your own site!

^^ LOL, that is exactly what the members are doing......giving opinions! It's funny how the opinions you don't agree with are labeled as BS though.
Gspotter is clearly not impressed with the G37 either, however I don't see him calling BS on members that like the G37. Get over it, some people will like the new Coupe while some won't.

This is the G37 Sub-forum on the g35driver.com site, right? You need to settle down as it's only a freakin' car. Model designations, design, engines, etc., change all the time. It's how the automotive world goes 'round.

You know who's fault it is the rear end of the G37 is so 'busy?'
BANGLE and his stupid C-pillar/trunk deck thesis. YOu see it in almost every new car now, from Mercedes, Toyota, Nissan, Infiniti to Hyundai. Thanks Bangle, you are a jackass.

I personally immediately fell in love with it the first time I saw it as you can see from my registring date. I will admit I am a little harsh with the G35 right now because everytime I was ready to buy one in the past, Infiniti did something that made me not want to drop such a big amount of cash if I was not 100% satisfied. Hence I don't own one right now and kept my current car for this long.
I have now seen the G37 and once again, I fell in love with it just like the first time I saw the G35, why is it so hard for you to beleive it is possible? I love the new design and am also really satisfied so far with changes Infiniti made so I will strongly consider getting one.
