Can anyone more computer-saavy that I put together a 1st gen and second gen coupe side-by-side so we can compare the height issue which I do not believe exists? They would have to be on similar ground (street/street, etc).

Mercedes SL
.....
LOL, it seems like Infiniti did a great job. That is a nice list of cars and to capture all of them is quite a feat.
You missed the Hyundai Tiburon and one or two others I can't think of right now.

Very well said Vin.

For those who are on the fence, wait till the 37 hits the showrooms and or pics come out in other colors.

Bring back the TB..... lol

I used my little NIKON CoolPix 5200. I have a Canon Rebel SLR (FILM) but raraely use it anymore cuz it's a PITA to lug around. I am starting to look for an SLR digital as soon as I find the right one and scratch up some cash for the camera and a really good lens. For my needs the Nikon does a pretty good job and for it's size, it has a bunch of features, manual modes, various options, etc. It basically has the same features as my SLR but in a more compact size. Only issue is that once you zoom in, you lose clarity, but that's only in telephoto mode.

I never said I wouldnt buy it. I have my 07 on a lease so who knows if I see one in person I might like it and get the 08. Thats the only reason I didnt buy out the 07. You can get annoyed all you want but people always bash on new remodeled cars. Then again the 350Z or G35 never grew on me I loved them at first sight!

No sweat... and I never said you wouldn't buy....or lease it.

I think you're confusing me with another poster about being annoyed. Nothing could be further from the truth. I'm actually somewhat amused at some of the comments/comparisons some make about the new model.

I can't agree with a generalization that people "always bash new remodeled cars" any more than I would agree people don't bash them. Some bash and some compliment. Certainly its a tough act for Infiniti to follow the success of the first gen. More recent buyers of the first generation may have greater likelihood of bashing than a potential first time G customer.

yeah, I thought that. G/L with the '07 and considering the new model. I won't likely be getting a new car for at least 3-4 years. I barely put any miles on the one I have now.

Just came back from the NY autoshow and the G37 looks WAAAAAYYY better in person!!! The pics do nothing for this car! I think everyone should see it in person.I must admit I'm VERY impressed with the car.Once you see it 4 yaself you will get the picture.Once again,It's WAAAAYYY better in person.I also signed up for a test drive and some literature on the car. Oh yeh, one more thing....The BMW 335i sport hardtop with 19's and the M3 Grill is SICK!!!!!

My photos from 4/8 (in NYC for business... perfect timing, because I almost crapped in my pants at all the hot cars at the NY Auto Show):
