Welcome to the board!! Congratulations man and great post. I hope to follow behind you pretty soon and pick up a G37 when they come out. I am going for a platinum graphite (unless one of the two new colors grabs me), graphite interior, 5AT, sport package, premium package, spoiler, 4 Wheel Active Steer (still debating this one).

I feel the same way, when i started at the top of this page to scroll down i was like ''o shizz''. The spoiler might as well not even be on there, if you look at the last pic it loooks gr8, and you dont really see the little spoiler lip. This car is going to be a nice one!

iunno bout the chrome lip maaaan. im wondering wether i should get one with the chrome lip and then wait for an aftermarket solution which will cover it up (like the Impul spoiler they make in japan for the sedan)
orrrr, choose to get that intergrated spoiler with third brake light that goes in place of chrome... then RIP that off and put an aftermarket in place
Don't kno yet which way would work better. Any ideas ppl?

Went to the Auto Show today to finally see the car with my own eyes. Must say that the car looks very nice in person. To tell you the truth, I didn't notice the height of the car in person (the height from the ground to the bottom of the car). It seemed fine and didn't seem much different from the 07 coupe parked nearby. Had 2 friends from work with me, and they both liked the car as well. I wish we could see the car in other colors though. I think that I may not go DG this time.
The car drew alot of people that all seemed to like it as well. I am deciding between a 335 and this car, so I went straight to the G37 and then to the 3-series coupe. I just think these are different cars the more I look at them. The 3-series is a nice looking vehicle but it is very tame compared to the G. Where I think the G sedan and 3-series sedan can be compared, I don't think the coupes are. For what it is worth, both of my friends liked the G37 better as well (they didn't even think it was close). Nice to see an independant person's view.
They are still saying "330 HP estimated" so I wouldn't be surprised to see the car creep up another 5-10 HP.

I cant wait to see it in person myself, it seems like its totally different upclose. The more i look at this thing i cant help but compare it to the stance of a pitbull... the g37 just looks mean, look at the first pic. But look at the door, if you look close to the left and the right you notice the muscular nature alot! Some of you may think im trippin out but a few might see what i mean

They changed from Pilot Sport Michelins to Bridgestone Potenzas. Not sure if that was a mistake. The pilot sports perform great but they were the noisiest tire ever. Everyone who came into my car noticed it and asked if my tired were cupped or something.

Sports noisier than Potenzas?????????
Holy cow--that's the first time I've ever heard that. I've had two set of Pilots and at their worst they weren't 1/2 as bad as my friends 19" OEM Potenzas!
I am off the Pilot Sports bandwagon, however, after I found out how squishy the sidewall was when I had them off the rim. I would go for the PS2's no doubt, but never the original Sports again.
