Some people on this forum are getting 5mpg on average LESS than infiniti had rated the car for just in the city.

Every car that you drive is going to be like that. Every car that I have driven I have had lower gas mileage out of it. If you drive really slow and drive less than the speed limit, then you will probably get the rated numbers. I know that it's my fault why I get 16~17 mpg city. I'm cool with that.

Actually I stopped trying to figure out how people think a long time ago. About year and a half ago after hurricane Katrina shut down much of our oil refining in Louisiana and gas prices went up around $.50 in one day, I saw a guy with a MB S550 fill up with 87 octaine to save around 30 cents a gallon. So the guy who paid $100K for his car used the cheapest gasoline to save around $5 on his fillup. So if he fills up once a week, he can save almost $300 a year. Yep, makes sense to me.

There was a new estimate done by the government .The mileage on thestickes will be changing soon. The ones you see now are off by at least 5 miles per gallon. The only time you get good mileage on these cars is on the hwy at a steady pace like 55-70 cruising. I wish i new the website.
