G37 Modifications

Hey guys,
I was reading on My350Z.com, and it seems they wont see the 3.7L until at EARLIEST, MY2009.

In that case, this engine will only be in the G coupe.

As far as developing upgrades like exhaust and intakes, do you think the typical companies from Generation 1 will supply us Gen 2 owners? Surely only time will tell.
But Gen 1 G coupe owners were lucky because they shared parts with the Z, which had more aftermarket demand. Being a luxury car only, I doubt we'll see extensive choices for exhausts, intakes, coilovers, etc...

Just a thought. Time will tell. I can't keep a car stock.

Well... people are already modding the G Sedan with aftermarket parts. Heck, there are mods for the FX and trucks. Why would the coupe be left out?

Because the coupe has an engine of its own.

The G sedan shares an engine with the new Z.

The FX has very limited mods, and also shares the engine. These mods are universal.

My350Z.com is about the worst source for reliable info. I stopped visiting that troll-infested rice-boy hangout long before I got rid of my 350Z.

Infiniti has already announced the FX37 (and has also trademarked "M37").

Speaking of exhaust...Do you think it will still have the sweetass exhaust tone of the G35?

I know Stillen gonna be the first one to drop the dual exhaust for the G37.
Anyways allthough i won't be getting the G37 but, i am pretty sure the G37 gonna be big with the aftermarket parts.

Aftermarket upgrades for the G37........

Within 90 days of the G37s release the market will be flooded with everything
you want to upgrade exhaust and intake. Plus, wheels probably won't be
any diffrent than the G35.

just like the new G35 sedan, I'm sure there will be a bunch of parts coming out in the end of 2007. Most of them probably will be launched on the 2008 Tokyo Auto Salon.
