Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. The headlights on the old g always looked too feminine to me. I like that the new headlights are more aggresive looking and more masculine.

highlighted just a few areas for you... the middle part runs all the way across the bumper not just underneath the grille the air ducts as well.

you do have a point in it possibly being taken at a bad angle. but still. how can a bad angle make a car look that much rounder? pu$$ified!!! lol

the point about having a rounder front is true.. AND that rounder front end helps the new g look that much better.. if what your looking for is a box with wheels go grab a van, drop it, tint the windows, throw some 50"s on it and turbo charge it!

the forum is divided.. some hate it.. some love it. so be it!

.. i still want to know where that pic came from!

lol... so the current gen g is a box-on-wheels to you? a "dropped van w/ tinted windows, some 50"s and a turbocharger"?? wow, your claims are suddenly much more credible....

you say the front is rounder. so how is that more masculine? it's pu$$y. if you like round, fat-looking cars, more power to you. if you like it, go ahead and buy it, i don't care. just don't make ridiculous claims bashing the current g, and whether it was your intention or not, it sure as hell sounded that way. still can't get over that pic and your absurd comparison...

what else is there to read? you first say that the round front-end is better looking. then you go on with your "joke" about how "angled" cars, like the current gen g and the concept that everyone liked, is comparable to a dumba$$ ricer van. i suggest you read my previous post and understand where i'm coming from, before making such ridiculous "jokes."

just becuase it's a "joke" i shouldn't take offense? you just said that i wanted that pos box-on-wheels van because i said that i wanted a more angular, muscular front end for the g37. wtf?

if you want a puffy, fat and round f@g-looking car, www.gaywheels.com there you go. rainbow shadow just for you as well. oh btw, i was just joking, lighten up

ndlive, a simple proof of how different angles affect perception. look at this picture...
notice how the hood seems flatter? Don't really see how the G37 is "pu$$ified" in that picture.

that's not even a "real" picture...

go http://www.infiniti.com/g_coupe/phot...or_photos.html here and look at the red g..

looks much better to me. and i did acknowledge that the angle could have made it seem worse, didn't i? anyway, i don't want to argue over this anymore... who am i to impose my opinion of the car onto you, and who are you to do so to me? i'm not paying your car payments, so... lets just all get along

I said the headlights make it look meaner, not the rounded front. The old coupe was more angular and did look more masculine because of that, but, it still had curves and the headlights were a little cutesy.

I don't know why everyone is crapping on the new G and saying it looks like the SC when the old one looked like the SC as well. Similar headlights, similar lower grille.

Got them from Road and Track. So far, it's the only picture I've found with both Gs. I can't wait to see more pics of them side by side for a good comparison.

The pics of the preproduction model are horrible and don't show off the shape/lines of the car as well as the ones from InfinitiMichael and the studio shots from Infiniti. I know the G37 will look very good in person. Lower, wider, and meaner.
