Man, compared to the concept, that looks very tame and borderline boring. What were they thinking? Hey, if the 3 is boring looking, we should make a boring looking car as well. Where is the differentiation in that?
Also, the new engine doesn't seem to be very mod friendly (11:1 compression and VVEL). Not to mention the minimal tq increase, though the 330hp is a nice number, I would rather feel it down low in such a heavy car like this (especially since it sounds like it is up over 100#).
However, the driving impressions sound great, so I still have hope come test drive time. I will hold final judgment until then.

"Our initial impressions of the new exterior design were mixed - we were afraid that the G37 looked watered-down when compared to the old G35's aggressive stance. But, we changed our minds when we saw the two G Coupes next to each other in person. The new car's front end, which looks soft and Lexus-like in pictures, looks muscular and tough in person. And the rear, which looks strangely naked without the large Infiniti badging, is quite similar to the old car - which is a good thing. Overall, it's a subtle evolution of a great design."
Let's wait and see

i definitely don't feel the front fender bulge.... not linear sloping fender to the lights like the current one.... 07 G sedan and this 08 coupe lost the trademark catamaran styling cue that made it, IMHO, one of the most unique and distinctive looks on the road.... I'll be looking for an engine swap in the future...
