My predictions:


* upgrade to sound system
* all autos will come with paddle shifters (including non S trims)
* SIXTH GEAR in auto transmission
* No silver rear spoiler
* 19 inch rims on S trim
* Will still be slightly slower than 335i
* Even rougher/stiffer ride (sigh)

What i want:
* hand-pull brake for automatic transmission (not going to happen i know )
* seat vents/cooling in addition to heating
* more low-end/bass for SOW
* update to nav firmware (allow all features during driving) and better management of music
* SIXTH GEAR in auto transmission
* A better ride comfort to road feel compromise (electronic adjustable suspension )

 

your predictions are highly optimistic, but i'll be hoping for them right along with you.

i agree with the 'want' for vented/cooling front seats. when i test drove the IS350, that was my favorite feature... no lie.

* No silver rear spoiler <--- YES! ty, iunno how the sedan guys put up with it. I def be lookin for some solution if that was the case... perhaps Bat's overlays? lol

+1 on the 6AT, music managment, and pull style ebrake.

WANT: A niiice shade of metallic blue. Somthing along the lines of Carribean/Athens blue. This color is a hard shade to get right for my taste, but when done right... WOW. I love BMW's montego blue

 

I'm a little more wishfull then most. I want lighter weight, with all wheel drive, and that glass roof. I know all three are most likely out of the question, but it's nice to dream.

 

I was at the gym when I realized i forgot to mention... AWD!!!! Had to come back and post. LOL
My two biggest hopes were 3.7L and AWD... one has come true, let's wait and see....

Dannng, glass roof from the concept... forgot about that one. I would consider Ivory Pearl for the body color then

I do think they will have AWD coupe.....

 

I hope that there won't be any difference in HP between the AT and MT like the last generation as I'm dead set in getting an AT this time around (currently drive MT). I would be pissed if Infiniti leaves the 3.5 in the AT and give the 3.7 only to the MT.

 

I think both transmissions will get the 3.7L. The majority of G's that Infiniti sells are AT's. I can't see them screwing over all the prospective AT owners.
If there is an AWD version, which I think there will be, that may get the 3.5L engine, who knows.

I blv that is refering to the chrome rear lip on the 2nd gen G35 sedan.. redesigned for 2007. This was on the coupe concept as well, so it may very well show up on the production coupe. It looks out of place and kind of tacky imo... unless on a black car

 

I doubt they will make AWD on the coupe...isnt that what the GTR is for??? LOL

I just want it to be as cool as the 03 was when it came out. Man, that car was so sick...i was just getting out of college and i had no other car in mind....except the sedan i bought first and drive for 8 months LOLOL

 

oo yes.. how could i forget my utter need for an HUD and electrochromatic windows,rear glass and sunroof...

 

just dont make it any heavier!
