We all know as the engine gets larger, it's harder to squeeze out more HP/L in NA form without additional technologies such as FI or VVL. So unless the VQ37 is a VQ37VE, I highly doubt it can make that #.
what is your calculation based on?

330HP/3.7L = 89.1HP/L
345HP/3.7L = 93.2HP/L
IIRC, the only Nissan engines to date that get 90+HP/L are either VVL or Turbo engines.

They also had SR20VET which make 280HP. So if you add VVL and a turbo in the mix, you get 140HP/L. Nissan knows how to make high HP/L engine, no doubt. Rumor has it that the VQ37HR from the GT-R is tuned by Cosworth and it supposed to rev well above 8k RPM and have VVL. So if that's true then, the VQ37HR will have no problem hitting 100HP/L w/ proper tuning.
