Not living under a rock
Under a rock? Was not impressed with those 07 improvements.
If you call the 2007 sedan interior as improved, then not really much of anything to get all excited about for the 2008 G35 coupe. Top notch quality is your opinion, thought the M45 interior was 10x better. Seems that it will be a recycled interior treatment if Infiniti uses the 2007 sedan interior.

If you don't see an improvement in the new G interior you would likely be one of very few that doesn't see it. It would make sense the G Coupe would use the same basic design and materials as the newly redesigned '07 sedan since it shares the same model designation. That certainly wouldn't make it a "recycled interior" since it will be revised for the coupe just as the sedan was. Whether you get excited about it is certainly a personal reaction, although there is not much better out there in this class of car.

I am just concerned they will wimp out and "soften" the final car. The sketch already looks like are doing that.
The G needs to be distinctive and aggressive to stand out and say something different. If Infiniti is trying for elegant, they will loose out to BMW. Infiniti just can't compete (yet). Give us something different, not another me-too soft-edge blah design.
That is what I liked about the concept -- it had some hard edges. If it keeps those (primarially the deep rocker cuts), I will be happy. If not, there is some tough competition coming out that will be worth a look, and worth the wait to see what happens (6.4 Challenger/LS-7-type Camaro if GM can put a good interior in it).
