OFFICIAL 08 Coupe sketch releasing tonight on nissansportmag.com

i like it. can't expect much more out of a sketch, but i think it embodies the concept rather well. the exception being the front bumper.. i really think the concept's front looks better than the sketch. with all the sharp lines, it just kinda dies in softness at the very front.

Ha, had to make the same clarification on another forum. Probably will edit the statement online in the article. Just to be clear, Infiniti isn't targeting "old women" buyers, but it is targeting more women *percentage-wise* than say the Z or GT-R. The majority of Coupe owners will still be male by a long shot. I guess I wasn't very clear.
That said, Nissan IS targeting women with the Altima Coupe. In theory that Coupe could end up being the Mini Cooper/VW Bug car of Nissan, but never the G.... - Dave

I have to say I am a little disappointed with the sketch. The front it too round and I dont really like the sedan bumper on it (although I love the kuruma z, this one still looks wierd). I didnt like the concept the very first time I saw it, but now I love it. I just hope it is less round in april or june when it is released.
I also think it is so stupid that Infiniti doesnt release more info sooner. So many people are buying bimmers and other cars because we have no definite information. If we new what to expect we could put of buying another car to wait for this.
Any how, thanks a lot for the sketch.

I have to respectfully disagree with the "Infinti is targetting women" buyers.
That might be his opinion, but it isnt coming out of a Infiniti rep.
The G35 coupe has always been a male's car by a very large percentage, and its gonna stay that way.
Plus, im not sure if I wanna see women driving a 300+ car with one hand on their cell phone and the other on their make-up bag!
Opinions are opinions...

Love, love, love the sketch (except for maybe the orange strip on the headlights).
The front bumper is MUCH better than the concept. That was the one thing I hated about the concept - the sharp front bumper angle.
I guess we all have different tastes/expectations

You can't tell much from that sketch. Still a sexy car but what's under the hood is going to be my decision maker.

I think that the sketch looks awesome. It looks like the Coupe will have the same bulging hood as the new Sedan......which I love. I wouldn't be surprised to see the same type of grille as on the Sedan that twists at the ends.
To those people that are not liking the sketch, just keep in mind that that is exactly what it is.....just a sketch. There is no way you can compare a sketch to seeing this in person. Heck, I wasn't even all that "wowed" when I saw the first picture of the 07 Sedan. Now that I have seen it in person and have one in my driveway, all I can say is that pictures didn't do it justice whatsoever. If pictures won't do a car justice, a sketch certainly won't. Just wait until you see this bad boy in person, I am sure it will be impressive.

What's not to like about the sketch? This will be a hot car just like the original Coupe. The real test will be seeing the car in person or at least real photographs.
It's not realistic to expect it to look the Concept. There's no car ever built that was a ringer for a Concept vehicle, which are somewhat exagerated and extreme versions of real cars that make it to market.
The Coupe is a male dominated drivers car by a lot shot. It sounds like Infiniti wants to broaden that appeal a bit, although the more practical and cheaper Alti Coupe will likely fit that bill well.
