I agree... It's not a problem when shifting in MM.

In auto mode the logic can sometimes be fooled, then it has to sequence through several gears at once.
I experienced this lag in the Audi A3 DSG that I drove a while ago.

I agree about the crease. I didn't notice it until it was pointed out. It doesn't look the best on the bumper. It wouldn't be a deal breaker for me buy I would rather not have it.

Hope the new coupe gets an upgrade from the traditional 5AT tranny. A 6AT tiptronic would be awesome, better yet 7AT (drools). But I wouldn't want a DSG-type tranny, leave those to Vdub.. :-\

Yeah, it would be pretty cool if the '08 coupe had a 6AT or 7AT, guess we will have to wait and see. Hopefully they will start releasing info on it soon, since it is due in the middle of next year.

Whoever wants a Glass Roof is retared!

Anyone that wants a glass roof is retarded! Why would you want to spend more money to lose performance and Safety! I don't want to replace the dumb glass window if a pebble puts a nice little crack on it! Could you imagine the cost! Yeah, I know you are all probabaly saying let insurance cover it. No ****, Now the cost of insurance will go up because of that glass! So there is no way in hell I would buy the G35 with a glass roof if it has one.

Anyone that wants a glass roof has no performance in them! Its all about performance!!! It has been for the past 100 years!!!!

Give the A/T a high performance CVT transmission with a glass roof and I'd buy one right this second. I'd dish out the $$$$ for a G with a glass roof- the Pontiac G6, Porsche, & Cadillac SRX with the Skyview roof are all pretty sweet. Can't wait to see what they do decide to do- especially since companies like VW are making a hard top convertible with a glass roof that also has a sunroof in it. I'm sure that Infiniti can come up with something that will surprise everyone.

'08 coupe............

I had a conversation with the salesmanager in my area this last Sat about
the '08 Coupe. Things like all-wheel drive and the glass top but he was
unable to answer most of my questions because he said Infiniti is being very
secretive and haven't let anything out......but three people have already
left deposits on the next coupe........hmmm.

All wheel drive will be an option and the glass top will be out.

I hope that if the new coupe indeed comes with AWD, then 18" wheels(at least) are offered. 17" wheels with all season just aren't going to cut it on this gorgeous coupe. Plus, most people take their all seasons off and put snows on anyway. Maybe the X model would even come with a sports tuned suspension. I highly doubt that but it's worth wishing for.
