Why all the secrecy about the release date;
The only reason I can think of, is they're scrambling like he!! to finish the car.
Which would also make me concerned about the first cars made.

The uncertainty makes it look like engineering/design is having trouble keeping up with all the new product.

I'd really like to give Infiniti a fair shot at keeping my business.....
right now it's not looking good.
Ian,

Unless Infiniti is gonna do a twin turbo 3.7 Litre or something to that effect I would say wait but then again ever thing is so hush hush about this car. Honesty after after driving the 335 Coupe (Montego Blue is sooooo nice a colour) at Budds the Bimmer is one gonna be one hell of a car to beat. Besides if you are leasing the residual (62%)and lease rate (4.9%) on the Bimmer is sooo attractive along with the free scheduled service.

Tough decisions and i'm in the same boat I am torn between the two cars and also my existing G35 Coupe which has been trouble free (Knock on wood).

Ken

Ian,

Yup it was in the showroom as of last Friday. 1st shipment from what the salesman told me. It had a sold sign on it but like I said that colour just rocks. If I leave Infiniti and get the Bimmer this is the colour that will grace my garage!

I drove the 335i coupe a week ago and it was SUHHH-WEEEEET... even if the new G-coupe is a 3.7L, do you think it'll be able to take the 335i coupe? BMW claims 0-60 in 5.3, but some magazine got 4.9 out of it... rediculous. And I seriously doubt Infiniti will touch handling engineering of the BMW.

Everybody here seems to be in agreement that the 335i is a better car than the very ambiguous G35 (37) coupe, so I don't know why there is any debate about it: just get the 335i!

So the 335 is better than a concept that we know almost nothing about, other than a few picures? Isn't it just a little too early to be making judgements???

Have faith into INFINITI my brothas.
learn from their earlier moves. When infiniti launched G model, they took out all of the competition and everyone went to the drawing boards. Now BMW got 335i Straight 6 with twin turbo pushing 300+ horses. Take current G and slap twin turbo on it you'll get much more then that. Infiniti waits for everyone else to empty their clips and then they lunch the rocket. So stand strong my brothers, so we shall shake the earth once more.
