G37 convertible one latch open one latch closed - FIXED!
Sorry guys I’m new to the forums here but last night I was riding around with my friend and I was trying to close my vert but his window stayed open during the operation which was weird and I didn’t notice and this caused the convertible to close unevenly.
I did some research online and found a YouTube video of a German hydraulic specialist guy and he said to unplug the negative battery terminal for 15 minutes to
reset the ECU. pull an interior trim piece down to access the electric motor, then grab a 6mm Allen wrench / hex key and find an access port right in the middle of the it and turn clock wise to close the uneven side. Once you do this reconnect the negative battery terminal to turn the car back on and try your convertible again.
I hope this helps someone out there and saves them 8000$ contrary to other forums out there.

Nice find. Can you post a link to the video?
Makes sense that a German engineer figured this out. After all, it's the same German company that designed this roof for Infiniti and BMW (and likely others).
Thanks again!
