A few weeks ago, I was hit on the driver's side door. Thank goodnes, I was not hurt, nor were those in the other car. However, three air bags did deploy. While the initial rough repair estimate was $7500, upon looking for parts, the body shop learned that the air bags and unique replacement parts (red leather seat, hard maple trim, side facia, etc.) were no longer available. So my car will be totaled. Two questions for those knowledgeable about G's. As there are no other 20 year anniversary editions for sale, how do I determine its pre-accident value? Secondly, most of this car is intact. Does anyone want to contact my State Farm Insurance Claim Adjuster to request the wreckage?

This G was not hit very hard, but was hard enough to deploy three airbags and the drivers seat belt safety. The inside of the driver's door has reusable maple trim and red leather panels.

Personnaly, I would try to find a complete door...they are all the same from 2009 to 2015. For the seat, you didn't mentionned if it was damage by the accident or just had airbag deployed?. It's the same, you could find a used seat (coupe are probably the same)to get the airbar and get the side rest restiched.

Thanks Guy. Next week, I’ll drive my damaged G to a local auto restoration shop. I am not familiar with how they match used replacement parts that will fit my 20th anniversary edition, but will give them a chance to do so. Is there anywhere I can obtain door, seat and rear quarter panel part numbers or coding information, to determine what available used car parts are compatible?

As mentionned in my previous post, I pretty sure that doors are the same on the coupe as convertible...So, you shouldn't have difficulties to find one in a scarp yard or on Ebay.

for the quater panel, if it's not perforated, you can llook for paintless repair (dent removal)...they can do miracles those days.
