Can I use the normal coupe duckbill to fit on my vert?

I know that the coupe spoilers are different from the verts but would I be able to buy a carbon fiber duckbill for a normal coupe and try to fit it on my 09 vert? Is this some what possible or am I out of luck?

You can try, but the lids have different shapes. There might be a way to 'jerryrig' it - stretch / push / stick (completely speculating), but since you are willing to throw cash at it - just find a body shop that specializes in something like this.

I agree, I believe the reason why a spoiler for the Vert hasnt taken off is because they might not have that many in Asia. Many of the spoilers meant for the V36 were a one-off that was copied and made cheaper.
With that being said the ideal material would be CF to add as little weight as possible since any extra weight will decrease life of the plastic gears which is what many fear.

A Coupe spoiler custom made to fit the vert by a body shop will most likely have to be cut and filled so the chances will be that it will need to be painted to hide the body work.

Here's an old thread on what an OEM spoiler for the vert would look like. It seems like the biggest hurdles will be Navi antenna and 3rd brake like + rear camera.
Keep that in mind.

I don't think it will fit, but even if it will, I don't think it's worth the price at all (Plus the fact that it's only held by double-sided tape doesn't sit well with me). I personally installed the sport spoiler, it wasn't hard at all and I would recommend going that route if you plan on keeping the car and do not mind dropping some $$ on it.
