Car got a boo boo

So, yesterday while driving, an 82 year old lady resulted in my car getting a boo boo. The officer wouldn't even listen to me as I described how that lady saw me and failed to stop and only paid attention to the old lady. I ended up getting a ticket instead infraction 3I, failure to yield instead of her. :/
So I got a ticket and my car got a boo boo. Insurance is taking care of all the replacement.. thankfully. I had it a little fixed up so I don't have to drive around with something sticking out from one end. I prefer everything perfect so they are going to replace everything without trying to make it look perfect.

So now, even this fender bender is gonna result in my car getting on far fax accident report even though its just minor issue. Is this adversely going to effect the resale value of my car? How bad do you guys thing?
Any suggestions, comments would be appreciated. Pictures attached.
Thanks fellas.

Carfax

R.d.R.,
Sorry you had a nice old lady both dent your car AND somehow deflect responsibility and get you a ticket...that's a bad day there.

As far as how this minor bit of damage will affect your resale value...
yes and no. Yes, some used car buyers will not consider a used vehicle if it has ANY carfax reported incidents. So those guys (potential buyers) won't even call you if you ever list your G37 for sale. You won't even know how many will just pass and go look at someone elses.
No, in the sense that what you have there is VERY minor damage. Repaired properly, and that is hardly an issue for a used car buyer...they will be more interested in overall condition, mileage, and price (value). Like me, they will be looking at a one-time $50,000 convertible that they might get for $30K, or $28K (about the lowest of today's market prices...2013), or $19K (if you decide to sell in about 5 more years).

When I was looking to buy (Sep 2013) a car with the kind of damage you show would certainly remain on my list of possibles. ONE example that did not was the one that looked great, lower than average miles, BUT had a carfax for THREE minor incidents...two front and one rear (probably just like yours, but THREE of them, ouch)

Best to KEEP those pics you took, they show how minor the damage was. And be upfront about what happened and how you repaired it properly. The guys who demand ZERO 'boo boos" won't call you anyway, the rest won't care about such a minor repair. Enjoy your Vert for as long as you can!

THAT SUCKS, accident thats not your fault and a ticket i would be SO MAD. to be honest most dealers don't care about the accidents or maybe I'm just lucky. i had a acura back then and reported two accidents when i went to the dealer they said my car was clean
