Hello everyone, I am a new to me 2009 G37 Convertible owner. I love the car so far and it has been a lot of fun. My trunk is very difficult to open, like there is something that is supposed to help the trunk open isnt working. Is this normal?

Lift very slowly and only about 1/4"-1/2" when first opening. Then, wait about 10 seconds. The double-hinged trunk lid is repositioning itself from "store convertible top" position to rear lift position.
