Climate Control Question - 2011 Vert
Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forum, just picked up my 2011 Graphite Shadow Vert last week.
I have a quick question. In the manual, in the climate control area there is a part about an ion control, and an icon that should display on the screen. I have never seen this appear, though the manual sounds like it should always be on the screen. Does anyone else have this icon?
Please see the attachment for what I'm referring to.
Thanks everyone,
Fred

It only comes on when there's inlet air is not good. It only comes on if needed..
Read page 4-31

help purify the air in the passenger compartment.
When the ion control mode is operating,

wow. i've owned this car for 2 years and i did not even notice that...thank you cvipgo for that explanation... hahahaha i just thought the little grape looking like thing turned green when the cabin turned into the temperature you set it on, and the AC turned off! I always thought blue = AC, green = don't need AC anymore!

I've got it on the 2009, non tech package. (sports, premium, nav)
But it likley was made into a tech only package starting from 2010 and up. Rain sensing wipers were also on the 2009, but is now tech package only.
