Installed R2C
I was in DC last week on a business trip and used the opportunity to order R2C intake, the black chrome version. Kuwait is one of the dustiest places on earth so I decided to go with R2C due to their superior filters.
Took it to a shop today (they offered to install it for $30, and I didn't have the right tools). It took two of their guys exactly 25 mins to remove engine cover, old intake, install the new intake and clean the entire engine bay.
First impressions - VQ sounds even better now, and butt dyno feels a slight increase in midrange performance. Pic to follow.

Well, no plan yet. If I do anything, it would have to be quads..just not interested in spending $1K or more with minimal impact. On top of that, getting anything to Kuwait is complicated and expensive, I can't return anything (money back guarantees are useless when shipping costs more than the product), so I really have to be picky as to what I get.
I am trying to get in touch with an outfit in S. Korea that does true dual exhausts with quad tips and matching diffuser. If I succeed, I will get that, otherwise I'll stay stock.

Here you go.. a couple of pics taken on my iPhone. Black chrome is hard to photograph, but looks awesome in person. I had a chance to go WOT few times later today...WOW...VQ sounds amazing with this intake!
and one more:
PS - props to Michael of Tunerz.com (forum sponsors) - great price, arranged quick shipping ( I only had 3 days to get the intake before flying back).

Thanks Unique_Bliss. Seems to be a good time to get a set now, there's a sale on black chrome version at tunerz.com. You can PM Michael (goes under Hybrid_DET here) for details. I hear that once black chrome runs out, R2C will no longer make them, only the standard chrome version. Install is real simple - no cutting.drilling, a real bolt-on.

Sowwy!
ImStricken, no difference up to 3,500 RPM, after that, yeah...sound builds up. At WOT, you can't fail to notice it. I find myself backing off in slow traffic just so I can go WOT to catch up, lol

that looks very nice dejan, what other brands were u thinking of getting? how often u gotta clean or change the filters? I had one on my Honda but the filter never really got dirty so it made me worry.. sounded real good and all but the factory filter seemed like it got alot more dirty then my k and n intake.
