Yeah, that's the plan.

I forgot to get my receipt for the Spare Tire Kit. I ordered it over the phone first. I believe the first post lists a Part number.

Here's the WEB page Spare Tire Kit

Tire: Bridgestone T145/70R-TBILL-S0576

what dealership did u get this from? did u get the rim with the tire or was that seperate? i see the jack is hidden in compartment behind the panel, did that panel come with the kit? i dont see it when i lift up the carpet piece on mine. do u still have the install instructions? my parts guy says its only (the kit) showing up on the computer piece by piece or part by part. and i doubt there will be any instructions.this guy is in the U.S and the my guy in canada does not know what im talking about when i ask for the kit. says its not on the computer. silly that infiniti didnt offer this at the time of purchase since the car didnt come with a spare and now when i call around for it, even the parts guys are stunned when i tell them there is no spare!

I bought it all from Bradshaw, but they are essentially separate items.

It comes with the kit. It's called the Inner Trim Panel

do u still have the install instructions?
Yes, but it's a fairly bad copy.

my parts guy says its only (the kit) showing up on the computer piece by piece or part by part. and i doubt there will be any instructions.this guy is in the U.S and the my guy in canada does not know what im talking about when i ask for the kit.
I'm not sure I'm speaking to this, but when I called, the parts guy said it was $700, just for the wheel. Obviously he wasn't looking at the Kit.

says its not on the computer.
When I called the parts dept at Bradsshaw, that's what they said. Then I directed them to the WEB page. They took it from there.

Maybe suggest they call Bradshaw.

I just bought the spare tire & wheel kit, yesterday. My dealer had three in stock and apparently sells them regularly. I feel better knowing I won't be replacing a tire pressure sensor for $250 after using the "shoe-goo" inflator kit when I get a flat tire.

Now, I just need to know where to stash the First Aid kit and wind screen that used to live in the space now used by the spare.

i ordered a kit as well but leave it in my garage. only take it for road trips. if im in the city ill call roadside cuz its super fast, or call someone to go get a spare if needed and then i have a storage spot for my windscreen, gear, etc.

Gents - doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose of a spare tire kit?

I don't have the kit but I have a full set of rims & tires in the garage. Along with Infiniti roadside assistance this is my peace of mind...

Unfortunately, the spare tends to defeat the purpose of the under trunk floor storage space.

I'll probably end up getting rid of the wind screen as it was an option I didn't want, but it came as part of the accessory package. Since buying the car, it has resided peacefully unused in the space now occupied by the spare tire.

The windscreen is AWESOME!! I wasn't really a fan and didn't think I needed it since the cabin turbulence & buffeting is minimal but, once I got one & used it, I now keep it permanently installed.

My car came with wind deflector. I installed it before leaving the dealership and it's still there, even with roof up. I had almost 4 months of top-down driving and it works great!
