Vert Battery.

I understand that there has been some batterys that have been replaced on warranty because they were crapping out on some G's, any Verts have this issue at all or was it addressed already on our Verts? I had my car in the garage for winter but it died over the months, i charged the battery and started the car to let it run for 15 minutes but 2 weeks later same thing happened. I boosted it with my little boost box and its seems all good now. hope she doesn't crap out when im far away from the house. any u guys get the battery replaced at all?

I've not gotten mine replaced. Daily driver, no winters or storage done.

Well it was parked for maybe 5 days during the ice storm here in January, but thats about it.

No ITB for convertible - only for Coupe- 2008 – 2009 G37 COUPE; BATTERY LOW VOLTAGE / NO START but there's ITB10-076 for 2009-2010 G37; MIL `ON` DTC P1421 (COLD START CONTROL).

Did you get "MIL" light on - if yes, go see your dealer.

This winter, my Vert spent several weeks at a time in the garage without starting but she always fired up when required.

I dont understand how Infiniti could have an ITB for the coupe and not the vert? Given all of the similarities I cant imagine that they use a different battery for the 2 versions but perhaps...

Sounds like there are less vert owners to complain, I bet it just takes longer because of this fact.

I had no issues either starting but so. cal weather is milder than yours.
The ITB on battery is for 2008-2009 Coupes but anyone vert owners thinks battery is a problem, just ask your dealer to test the system out when you take your car for service.

I thought I'll pass on the info for those having battery issue on their vert:

ITB10-010C: This bulletin has been amended. The Applied Vehicles section and Table A has been revised now includes 2009-2010 G37 Convertible (HV36).

Hope above is of helpful

My wifes A4 battery is dead. I drove the car a month ago, started up no problem after sitting for 3.5 months. Sat for one and now dead.

SO I go to take it out and try to get a replacement. Audi has some funky *** way to remove it, not easy, on top of that I see this this cable coming out of the side of the battery. It wasn't the POS and NEG cable, it was a third thinner wire in plastic.

WTF? Had to put it all back together and either pay the stealership to do the swap or figure out what that wire does and how to deal with it.

Damn german cars...........

Infiniti's battery swap isn't easy either but is easier than Audi, get Audi's ESM, may help. good luck.

I have changed batteries on my coupe and fx but had to have power input from a charger from cig. lighter to preserve all the memory parameters, so I don't have to reprogram the memory features.
