I almost bought one but, when I saw the Pacific Sky blue at the lot, had to have it. Also, it was exclusive to the vert which meant I would not be seeing 100s of them.

Love athens blue. It's awesome. I wonder how it compares to Lapis.

Lapis appears to be lighter blue. From this thread pic and description

I have an athens blue (B21) too.
I ordered the x sedan first.
Then i saw the blue vert on the dealer lot, i like it alot, so i toke it home with me
Anyway, G37x sedan is a better car for a daily driver (faster too).
But the vert is just a different level. Is more fun to drive and it feel's completly different than sedan.

Well you don't see AB verts either... there are a lot of Pacific Sky Blue in So. Cali but not AB.

AB is on the coupes, but in general it is a rare color. There just may be a lot of pacific skys in So Cal.

Reds pretty rare also, but it is not exclusive to a model like the pacific sky.

I like to pretend that my black vert is special haha... there still aren't too many convertible G's around although there are a ton of coupes
