Actually I thought the scratch shield is the sticker on the hood and many other corners of the vehicle, but somehow I didn't see any stickers on my 2010 verts.

Your are mixing two different shields: FYI

1) The OEM paint scratch shield is built into the top clear coat..

2) The paint scratch protection film is installed after market and that's not what we are discussing...

stays in the garage at home. at work I just use one of those snow brooms they use at car dealerships. as long as it doesn't freeze it's fine. Also, a good coat of wax at the onset of winter helps.

Just keep it in the garage and use the family SUV with all seasons for snow.
