Coldest Temp with Top Down

What is the coldest temp you will drive with top down? I have been out close to 50 F, and it seemed OK, but any colder and I don't think the HVAC could keep up.

30 degrees. It actually wasnt as bad as I thought. I was bundled up and ready to be frozen, but with the heated seats and the heat on 90 degrees it worked out well.

I have been out in mid-30 degree weather... the few days it gets cold in south florida happened to be right when i picked up the convertible and the novelty of having the top down hadn't quite worn off yet...

Not below freezing and I prefer the sun to be out. So I think maybe 34 was the last I remembered. If there is high wind you can forget it. Even with the deflector, windows up and heat on you can feel some cold air.

You've definitely got to be in the mood for it and feeling it, but I've had the top down in the upper 20s and low 30s when I used to have a z3. Heated seats, heat blasting, gloves, hat, the whole 9 yards. After a late night, it's kind of nice to cool off like that...maybe a bit better to do in the 40s though!

My girl drives her s2000 with the top down in all types of weather, and I do mean ALL TYPES OF WEATHER. Today with the wind chill in NY it was 9 degrees and her top was down, and she drives with the top down in the rain on the highway because her theory is the rain doesn't hit you when you're doing 50+. lol

Now that's ballsy. 9 degrees!! Well if you are dressed for it it's probably not a big deal.

I've done the rain driving and it is true to an extent. Light rain is not a problem as long as there is no slow moving traffic on the highway LOL.

When the dealer delivered it on Friday I took a spin with the top down. It was about 30. (I'm in NH) Not much air came in and the heated seats and heat on 90 took care of it.
