New G37S Convertible - Rattles?!?
Just picked up my 2009 G37S Convertible last week and I noticed immediately a rattling sounds coming from the rear c-pillar, both right and left side. I took it to the dealer yesterday and they confirmed the rattling and placed felt to line the headliner and rods near the c-pillar on both sides. Picked up the car and it is still making the same rattling noise, if not worse. Anybody else experiencing these rattles? It's a shame when you already experience issues such as these on a $52,000 vehicle! Any help or feedback would be most appreciated.

I don't have any sounds like you describe. No chance its an unsecured seat belt moving? How does the top sound when it goes up and down? I'd be tempted to stop it part way and have a look.

This is my 1st hard top convertible, but I tell ya the top does have some rattles. I've had mine in a couple times and they haven't been successful in fixing them for very long. That's Jebuses way of telling me to motor topless.

Hey guys, I had the same problem and I think I know what is causing it, it is the flaps the fold down when you open the convertible, if you look in the truck you will see them hanging a little and if you tap them they move, so when you hit a bump they must be hitting next to the trunk frame, I don't think the dealer can do anything if that is the problem

Yup, it's the 350Z wheels. Since the weather got warmer, there are alot less rattles with the top up and with the top down you can't hear any rattles, except the exhaust music
Maybe my opening and closing the top samething went back to it's original position or with the expension of the roof gaskets, the roof is tighter.
Anyways, i'm a happy now.

just brought in my vert to get the rattles in the roof repaired and go figure they make it worse. The service rep told me that they tightened the cables in the roof. So now idk if I should bring it back, or try to fix the issues they made plus the original problems?
