Rear Spoiler/Aerial
#16
When I bought my convertible I told them I wanted the spoiler. The car was in transit from Japan. The dealer told me the spoilers are being installed at the port of entry and tried to get mine installed there. It didn't happen so they found one at another dealer and had it shipped to them.
It works very well. And after paying $50K, paying an additional $800 takes away a major blemish on what otherwise is a very well styled car.

The Convertible spoiler with integrated antenna will be available in 2010..for.$700. i actually got rid of stubby antenna by replacing with small 4mm round rf connector with rubber cap..for now looks better and no reception issues but I still prefer spoiler with integrated antenna.

I'm going to look at this closely as I've never been bothered before. On my bmw e36 vert there were a number of "short" antennas available - Bimmian Micro Antenna for BMW 3 Series - 1992-98 E36 for example. These came with multiple screw thread adapters and were anodized aluminum - possible to get a better color match for example - and I "think" they are smaller - 3" and 4" sizes were available. I'll pull the one of my e36 and g37 and compare them. The blue anodized was quite close to the Athens Blue. I usually hate spoilers - I don't want my car to look like an Eclipse - but the Infiniti one looks quite nice. I think I'd rather do the ironman headlight mod first though if it is going to cost $1000 or so.

If you are thinking about headlights, you should look around. There is 3 different vendors now on the forum that do headlight modification.
