Great module. But the other mod allows even more functionality. The small switch can easily be hidden in the center console. Also can be done for 5 dollars, no shipping.
Both avenues (the module and the switch) will allow programming while moving. Both avenues have the potential to allow video.
The KPtech NI35 processes the OK screen and allows you to control the bypass from the navigation panel instead of having to constantly be messing with the added switch.
I do realize there is substantially more cost with the KPtech module, but it does do things the switch can't do, and it does them more elegently!
The thing to remember about the video is that it is a liability nightmare (which is why we neither condone nor support it). It isn't that out module isn't capable of handling it, it is that we don't want to be sued when someone causes an accident and kills someone because they were distracted by a video on their Nav screen. Watching video on a front screen is illegal in all 50 states but, to my knowledge, not a single state has passed a law preventing the use of a front screen for interaction with the vehicles radio, navigation, and/or climate control systems.
