Placed an Order for my G37s Convertible today!

Went to suburban infiniti of novi today and talked to one of the reps about pulling ahead on my coupe so I can get the convertible when it comes out (Mid-May im being told). He said the dealership has the right to order 3 to start with and told me he would reserve one of the vehicles for my specs. Im planning on getting a Vibrant Red again with the Graphite interior. It will be fully loaded except for the fact that I dont believe the drop top will come in all wheel drive (Which is not a problem seeing as I drive a Laredo in the winter **** MICHIGAN WEATHER lol). My lease is paid off and is not due until december of this year. I was told I can just walk in and work on some numbers which havent been released yet (Or Id have a lease quote by now) But they told me they would try and keep me around the same prices regardless of the MSRP. Just thought i'd let you guys know. There is a release party that they will be having if any would like to attend let me know, Ill get your name on the list. Unless of course you've leased from Suburban already!

So you are not actually ordering one, they are just going to TRY to get one with your specs. Good luck with that.

Your lease is already up?

I drive a g37 coupe with premium and tech package with an msrp of around 40? So depending on how much the convertible costs they have to base my lease rate off its new MSRP because it will be well over 40 if I'm not mistaken. So technically I haven't ordered it but I got dibs here in michigan lol

It ends in december, but i've paid off the rest of the lease to pull ahead i guess you could say. I don't believe Infiniti offers pull ahead, and if so they probably just would average the rest of my payments into my new one. I decided id rather pay it off and hopfully get a good deal on turning the car in (it will have a little less then 20,000 miles on it (unless I decide to take a road trip lol) before i turn it in on a 24 months lease with 12k per year).

Hmm based on what my dealership told me, first batch of convertible by is only build to Infiniti's spec and allocated among the dealers. If what my dealership said is true, you are not going to be able to order according to your spec.

They lied to you. I was able to order mine late April 07 even though they said they couldnt order until July 07.

Based on what my dealership told me, the first batch of Convertible you cannot order the configuration, therefore you are stuck with what Infiniti builds and allocate to the dealership.

The above statement does not conflict with the statement that "you can order a convertible", it conflict with the statement that "you can order a convertible with your configuration"
